DANIEL MURRAY

I'm a London based photographer of Scottish and Mexican heritage, working in street and documentary photography.

Photography is my excuse to look at the world in the detail that I do regardless. It's my excuse to connect with strangers, and to slow down and notice unique moments that could only happen right there and right now. I try to stay curious with everything I photograph.

It's less about how I photograph, and more about who I am. A shot matters to me either through composition, or when it makes someone feel like they were truly seen.

I won the Sony World Photography Award youth category in 2024 at 15 years old. I also work with Sony and reach an audience of 210K+ across platforms.
